Ergonomics R&D at NIWL focus issues related to occupational musculoskeletal disorders.

Our R&D comprises production of goods as well as services and our projects focus 3 fields of activity:

  1. Assessments of relationships between work/workplace/organisation and risk factors for musculoskeletal complaints as well as their genesis
  2. Intervention research: how work, workplaces and organisations should be designed to minimize the problems and appropriate procedures to reach this
  3. Development of tools facilitating the change processes.
